Mister Rogers' Neighborhood was a love/hate thing for me. I think Mr. Rogers was delightful. I LOVED the intro and outro of the show. So warm and comfortable. I have beautiful memories of him.

But the puppets… They always weirded me out. Yet, I was still blown away with delight when I heard the Mr. Rogers theme song in the TV show Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood.

Turns out, Daniel is the son of one of the puppets in the Rogers TV show. That makes me happy beyond belief. Especially when Daniel sings the Mr. Rogers theme song, complete with shoe taking on and off. That's just awesome! What a wonderful tribute and continuation of a great tradition!
