I spent most of this week playing catch up from my weekend at StarFest. When I go away for a weekend, not only do I often leave things a minor wreck, it takes me a few days to recoup. This past weekend was a bit worse because I also got a stomach bug at the convention. Now it's Friday and I'm almost caught up.
That is my bizarre life. I'm grateful I have a loving and supportive wife who puts up with the challenges of being married to a traveling musician.
I still remember watching Walk the Line (affiliate link). I LOVE that movie. At one point, Johnny Cash is married and comes home. He says something like “when I'm on the road I just want to come back home, but when I'm at home I just can't wait to get back on the road.” I'm not that bad. I don't think. But it is indicative of the challenges of being a musician. I get out on the road, and I have a tough time readjusting when I get back home.
If you're in Birmingham, Alabama, I'm performing tomorrow at the Pepper Place Farmer's Market come rain or shine. This is the start of my season there. I'm performing monthly. This week I'll be on the 29th Street Stage.

Oh! I am horribly addictive with podcasting. Sooooo tempted to start another one. I must resist. I don't have the time. But you do. Start a Podcast.
Reminds me. I have an interview with The Stubby Shillelaghs I need to release.
Thanks for the news, much appreciated. The starting a podcast link is a bit strange- check it out? Cheers, Jeremy.
