Beth Patterson and Marc Gunn at Moonlight on the Mountain on January 17th

moonlight-on-the-mountain-version-2

Come meet an award-winning musical misfit who crawled out of a Louisiana bayou and embarked on a journey paved by progressive rock. She headed for Istanbul and took a wrong turn somewhere around Ireland, creating delicious mayhem along the way: inventing some scandalous new traditions, coining some new words, collecting sick jokes and playing some blazing new riffs with a hypnotic new sound… It's BETH PATTERSON

Beth will be joined by The Celfather. Marc Gunn is a rhythm and folk musician inspired by Celtic culture, science fiction, fantasy, and cats. He breathes new life into the autoharp, which continues to surprise musical veterans and fans a like for it’s unique sound and spirited energy. It’s like a satirical jam session between The Clancy Brothers and Weird Al Yankovic. It’s Celtic music, the traditional and the twisted.

  1. How does the mandolin taste?

And why isn’t Marc biting his? Too good to eat an autoharp now, eh? 😉
