Celtic Christmas Greeting Cards with Music on Kickstarter

I just launched a Kickstarter for a new series of Celtic Christmas Greeting Cards that also features Celtic Christmas music by me. I have 19 days to reach my goal IF this project will happen. While there are a lot of new Celtic Christmas songs planned for the album, it's not about the music. It's about sending your family and friends Celtic Christmas Greetings!

I always hate doing Christmas promotions in September or October. When it comes to Kickstarter you have to plan ahead. I actually should've started this in September. Time got away from me. Nevertheless, I shortened the campaign to just twenty total days to raise $2800.

When you visit the Kickstarter page for the Celtic Christmas Greeting Cards, you will note that if you buy one CD, it'll cost you $25. If you want to buy in bulk, to send these cards as Christmas cards, it gets a LOT cheaper. In fact, you'll get 10 for $50 or 25 for $100.

Notice a pattern?

1 CD = $25
10 CDs ($5 each) = $50
25 CDs ($4 each) = $100
50 CDs ($3 each) = $150
100 CDs ($2.50 each) = $250

See how smart it is to use these as actual Christmas cards?

Now the plan is to order the albums by the end of October so that I receive them by the time your payment comes through on Kickstarter (14 days after the campaign closes). Then I ship them off to you.

When you get the cards, you can send them via MEDIA MAIL because they are technically “media”. That'll keep your price for mailing the cards down a wee bit.

What can I do with 25, 50, 100 Celtic Christmas Greeting Cards?

I'm sure you easily have 25 friends to whom you could mail Celtic Christmas greeting cards to. Even 50 is likely. But 100?

You could give Christmas cards to everyone in your office.

OR BETTER YET! Have your office buy the Greeting Cards and give them to everyone in the office.

They can go out to friends and family. Share them in your church or your local organizations.

The goal here is to send to wonderful Celtic Christmas greetings and spread holiday cheer. Add a little Christmas music, and you're sure to bring some smiles.

Go to marcgunn.com/kickstarter and share some happiness this Christmas!

What do the cards look like?

Darn it! Are you really gonna ask me that?

Sigh.

Okay fine… I don't know. The design is not yet done.

However, I have enlisted the aid of Celtic artist Ingrid Houwers to create the graphics for this CD. Ingrid is an AMAZING Celtic artist. She designed my Celtic Cat Logo. She did the CD cover for Irish Drinking Songs for Cat Lovers, Whiskers in the Jar, and Happy Songs of Death (The Wake cover). She also design the t-shirt for Not Every Day Is St. Patrick's Day. She's absolutely brilliant.

Oh! If that's not enough, her taxidermy art was used in the Game of Thrones TV series. Yes. THE Game of Thrones!

So, no. I don't know what it will look like. I like letting her use her imagination. Because she's amazing.

Oh! And the Celtic Christmas music?

I enlisted the aid of Samantha Gillogly, a brilliant Celtic fiddler from New York. She added her talent on a few tracks on the album. She just sent them last night. I can't WAIT to hear!
