CG004: The Celtic Geek Is Born, Happy St. Patrick’s Day

Happy St. Patrick's Day! I am pleased to announce the official birth of a new podcast–The Celtic Geek. For the last four weeks I've been debating what to call this new podcast. I thought and thought and finally decided three things:

  1. The Celtic Geek community needs a town crier, someone to unite the Celtic music lovers and Sci Fi fantasy geeks under one roof. I've been a Celtic Geek my whole life, so why not just use that name.
  2. What I do best is promote others. So while my news will continue to be a large part of this podcast, I also want to promote other things that fit into the Celtic Geek world, from music to movies, to gadgets to whatever. I want to share my thoughts and make recommendations.
  3. I want you to get involved. So email me at slainte@marcgunn.com. Put “Celtic Geek Recommendation” in the subject and then send me a link or thought about something cool that I can share. Let's give this a try.
