CG033: Quiet, The Power Of Introverts

I started listening to a new audio book today by Susan Cain. It's called Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can't Stop Talking. And yes, today's show is sponsored by Audible. You can get the book free when you go to marcgunn.com/audible.

Sci Fi Drinking Songs is done and off to the printers. If you pre-ordered it, stay tuned. I'll have it in the mail soon. You can find this show at marcgunn.com/celticgeek033

  1. Ever given thought too those of us who are introverts yet mask as extroverts? That’s what I’ve done all my life. AND it’s exhausting in certain circumstances! Stay well.

  2. I hear networking and feel ill. I am great in typed conversations, or in a group of no more than three people; I am not a party or big group person. Oddly enough, I can teach in front of a large group and it is OK, but social situations are no fun. I appreciate what you share about how to market when an introvert!

    • I hear ye. I’ve learned to do it. But I have to be in the mood. Basically psych myself up for it.

Though I’m the same with large groups. It’s fairly easy to do that.
