Concert Window Was a Hit, Set List, Back to Shipping Sci Fi

Last night's performance on Concert Window was a tremendous success. There were 37 people who logged on and watched the show. The reviews are fantastic. Thanks to everyone who watched the performance. We even had a viewer at 3am watching the show in Estonia. (thanks Kersta!)

Here's the set list from last night:

  1. Nancy Whiskey
  2. Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster
  3. Doctor of Gallifrey
  4. Reavers, Malcolm, Reavers
  5. Follow Prince Charlie
  6. Freedom Costs
  7. Mingulay Boat Song
  8. Jasper Tabby Kitty Cat-y
  9. Close Your Eyes
  10. Wherever I May Roam
  11. The Mermaid
  12. Don't Go Drinking With Hobbits
  13. Ring of Hope
  14. Kilkelly, Ireland
  15. Special Guest Song by Kenzie: Let It Go!
  16. Beer, Beer, Beer
  17. Bring Me Home, Boys
  18. Come Take a Trip in My Airship
  19. The Parting Glass

At the end of the show, viewers asked for “MORE, MORE, MORE”. So I'm gonna oblige. I'm gonna start planning another Concert Window show in a month or so. I think it'll be September. Maybe I can do it just in time for the official CD release of Sci Fi Drinking Songs.

Keep an eye open. I'll let you know when it happens.

Now it's time to get back to packing up CDs. I worked all morning. Then I realized I still have over 100 albums to pack up. I'm working on it though. Thanks for your patience. I'll get it done asap.

  1. I have to say after looking through your musicians and bands lists, I am floored by the omission of Kirk McLeod/Seven Nations. Ej Jones appears. He told me personally many years ago, that he was inspired to play the pipes by KIRK AND Seven Nations. Ans were.a number of other bands/musicians on your lists. So all I can say is WOW.

    • Hey Becky,

Thanks for checking. The list I made was just of the bands and musicians I know. Seven Nations has never submitted music to the Irish & Celtic Music Podcast and I’ve never performed with them. You can help change that though. Email the band and ask them to submit to http://celticmp3s.com/submit/ . I’d love to get them on the show.
