How was your year? Goal Setting for 2016

New Year's Goals!

I have begun reviewing my success from 2015 and I'm starting to set goals for 2016. You can learn some of my solid plans for next year. Though there will be more exciting things to come… once I figure those out!

2015 is the first year that the Celtfather has been a weekly podcast, which has pushed my boundaries – we're changing some of the podcasts and the layout of the Celtic Music Magazine. My podcasts have some good defined goals and numbers, as does my fitness routine, but now I'm trying to figure out how to boost bands and create more content.

My ambiguous goals from last year didn't seem to help me much, nor did trying to make un-measurable goals. Now I'm looking at increasing listens or mailings, or other “measurable” goals, but those are sometimes just as unhelpful as the ambiguous goals. Dragons vs. Pirates is also a big goal to finish, and the Pubsongs Podcast is probably going to be launched later in the year. I have a host of CDs on the back-burner, and I'd like to tour more via podcasts, but all of that is yet to be figured out.

In the meantime, it's time to book the rental for Cornwall for the Celtic Invasion Vacations! This will help define the entire trip and get that rolling!

All in all, I feel last year was a great year, and I hope to find many more areas where I can make a big impact, and where I can help more people.

Here are the numbers and goals I've set for myself and my shows this year:
