My latest album “Don't Go Drinking With Hobbits” is still doing well thanks to all the promotional help back in September and with the impending release of “The Hobbit” movie. I gave away a single to everyone who helped me in that September promotion. Now I am releasing the song as a single.

The song is called “The Smial or the Tree”. It was written by Nancy Flynn. I met Nancy at ALEP 2, the hobbit gathering I love so well. She has sent me several marvelous song lyrics. I hope to record a bunch of them. This song is a parody of the Irish song, “The Orange and the Green“. It's about a person born of elf and hobbit parentage and the challenges associated with the comical thoughts associated with it. It's great hobbit fun!

The picture above features our very own Bilbo Baggins during a performance of “A Well-Dressed Hobbit“. I hope to release a video on YouTube so you can better hear the song. But we'll see if I can pull that together.
