“Funny, Sexy Songs. Oh my… Is it warm in here – or is it just me? Gunn will heat up your blood with this devilishly funny collection – sure to elicit the many naughty giggles and blushes promised by the title. A sure bet for fans of sexy Scotsmen (like Diana Gabaldon’s Outlander series), beer, filk and cats.”

-Melissa McCauley for Kilted For Her Pleasure

Greetings,

It was a busy month unpacking the new home while taking care of a teething baby. We are all moved in now, and we love it here.

Kenzie is learning new stuff almost daily now. In fact, just a moment ago, she was lying down and then sat up on her own for the first time. Then she was playing with a toy and lifted herself to an almost standing position.

I can't believe how quickly she's growing. Being a parent and experiencing all this is a wonderful thing.

Meantime, I have a lot of music news. You can read most of it in my blog, but make sure you subscribe to the feed too.

Firefly Drinking Songs MP3s Now on Sale, CD Coming Soon

One of the big bummers of the past month is the release of Firefly Drinking Songs. We hoped to have the album out in early June. Production problems prevented that. Then we changed the date to June 21st. Unfortunately, the CDs have still have not arrived. However, MP3 album was released all around the ‘net yesterday.

Plus, I finally heard that the CDs will arrive from the printers next Tuesday. So the new date of Interversal Mudder's Day is July 8th, which incidentally is also the date I quit my day job back in 2005.

That seems kinda appropriate for a Mudder's Day, huh?

So buy the MP3 album right now so that you can help send it up the charts, or I'll try to send a reminder on July 8th to buy the CD.

Don't Go Drinking With Hobbits Sponsorship Continues

Dont' Go Drinking With Hobbits

I'm so psyched about Don't Go Drinking With Hobbits. Last month, I asked, “Who wants to record on the album?” I got a bunch of responses from some incredible musicians!

Many of the tracks are now laid. I just have two or three people I'm waiting on. Then I can start doing proper mixes of the album.

In the meantime, you can listen to rough tracks every week on the Pub Songs Podcast. I'm hearing some great comments about the songs too.

In addition to playing songs in the podcast, I also had some folks at Fiverr make a few promotional videos. You can watch them on YouTube. They're ton of fun.

If you'd like to do a music video with one of the songs from the album, email me. I'll send you a rough cut.

In the meantime, pre-order the album here. I added a few new cool bonus gifts. Help me fund this album today.
