Happy holidays to all. The cold air is here and I've been in that holiday mood. Odd for me. Hard to believe we're only days away from Christmas. And I still need to finish getting presents...

CHRISTMAS IN BROBDINGNAG

I shoulda sent this message out sooner. Right before we headed off to the Louisiana Renaissance Festival, we finished our Christmas EP, Christmas in Brobdingnag. We were only able to finish recording five songs, but they've gone over great.

Right before it was released, Andrew made a funny mix of one of the songs. We call it the "Little Drummer Boy (Live Bootleg from Rome)". He told me he wanted to see how I'd sound performing the song in front of a packed live audience. Then we made up the story, how last year, when I was in Italy, we made a quick jaunt over for us to one live show someone bootlegged the concert and got this fun track. :)

RENAISSANCE AND CELTIC MUSIC AWARDS

A few days ago, I launched two new contests. The Celtic Music Awards and the Renaissance Festival Performers Awards. I'm pretty excited about them and I'm trying to get the word out. So far it's spreading well, but I could use some help sharing it even more.

Alas, I and the Brobdingnagian Bards can't win the competition since I'm running it. But if you have some favorite groups, go vote in the awards.

I was listening to a recording "Baby, It's Cold Outside" on repeat, drinking a glass of wine and just groovin' to the music. Once again, I was off in my own little world. And it's cold outside. How I would love some snow...

I'm sitting here,
a glass of wine,
my head buzzing
in some weird swirry
swaying to Ann Margaret
feeling swell, baby.

It's cold outside,
but as my lips pulse
for a kiss
with an audio dream,
ooo, love, baby.

Cool hands
pulsating warm in mine,
floating on hard wood floors,
a fox trot with cats
and my imagination,
but feeling snazzy.

Dance with me doll!
to warm the chill,
ooo, you're lips,
delicious, mmm,
like a half a drink more,
uh a slender kiss.
