Pub Songs #61: Science Fiction Convention Music

Pub-Songs-Podcast-Logo-300

I just got back from a killer show at InConJunction. So this week's show starts off talking about the exciting time I had in Indianapolis. There I got to see Tom Smith, the World's Fastest Filker, perform. That got me thinking that I need to do a special feature on the music of Science Fiction Conventions. So this week's show features a small fraction of the musicians and bands who I have met while performing at Science Fiction conventions. It's only a small portion of the great music you can find there.

Oh! And I reveal the super-duper secret news I've been hinting about for the past three weeks.

  1. I was really looking forward to listening to the iMix but it says it is only available in the united states store… Maybe you can do something about that?

Also I absolutely loved the song End of the Tail by the Ravens of last week but I tried to google and follow your links but I can’t find a place to buy it 🙁

    • iMix. Bugger. I wasn’t aware of that. But they do seem fairly nationally proprietary. So another option is for you to create your own iMix for where you live.

Ravens. As for the Ravens, there is not a link to the CD, however, I think you can contact the owners of the website and buy a copy directly from them. It’s not as easy, but I think possible.
