I'm excited to share the most-popular Celtic bands and artists of 2019. These are my organic favorites. By that I mean, these are the artists I played the most on the Irish & Celtic Music Podcast this year. I played them because I love their music. I love it so much, I keep playing their vast catalogs over and over again.
Some a regular favorites for me like The Gothard Sisters (featured in the photo above), Runa, Vicki Swan & Jonny Dyer. Others are new to the list like Brother Sea, Tartanic, and Molly's Revenge.
I love the diversity of music. And I am beyond excited to hear what happens next year as I continue to offer diverse music to the podcast.
Now these are MY favorites. In a few weeks, I will share YOUR favorites as voted on in the Celtic Top 20. I look forward to seeing who you pick.
I want to send out a huge thanks Ask Stephen. He compiles a list of ALL the bands and songs in each Celtic music podcasts online. And there are a bunch. What an amazing person to compile this. So thanks!

Music is a powerful part of our lives. Yes. It will probably always be there. But many bands on my Top 20 list are no longer here. I can't comment as to why. But I do know all of these artists rely on the generous support of folks like you.
So please do these artists a favorite. Click the web link. Find out more about them. Buy something. Follow them on Spotify or other streaming sites. Add them to your favorite playlist. Or just tell a friend. Every little bit helps bring more great independent Celtic music into the world.
Thank you!
