Weekend One of Louisisana Renaissance Festival Ends

Boy am I tired, but I feel great. I had an amazing weekend at the Louisiana Renaissance Festival.

A couple days before the faire, I finally got a stage show confirmed. I am playing weekend mornings at 10:45 am on the Queen's Stage. It's a Celtic Sing-Along. So bring your voice nice and warmed up… else I'll just warm ye up when you get there.

The show went great, and I was excited to a have a nice-size turnout. It was just plain fun.

Yes, there is just one show a day. I am hoping next week I might put together a street show on Sundays in place of the whisky tasting that is on Saturday.

As for the wine and whisky tastings? WOW! They ROCK!

It's a perfect match, my music blends great with the many amazing wines (Italian and Hungarian this weekend, mmmm) we had. Madame Ghislaine, Bonnie, Queen Elizabeth, Vince Conaway, Robin Hood and Marian, and many others showed up for the wine tasting. What a great job I have to play music for a wine tasting!

Plus, whisky! Mmm, Bonnie put together a highly educational and tasty treat of whiskys.

This is just a ton of fun. I think this might've been the best weekend I've had at Louisiana Renaissanc Festival so far. Awesome! And five more weeks to go!

I hope you'll join me in the upcoming weeks.
