Background

Every civilization has their own set of drinking songs.  Among those are always the song of parting.  This one is for the hobbits.  The lyrics were written by Rie Sheridan Rose based on the Irish song “The Parting Glass” with music by me.  It's a beautiful tribute to those pint sized heroes of Middle-earth, and I like to think it was a fitting ending to our time at ALEP2.  The CD comes out officially on October 22, 2011.
