I finally compiled the 20 best Irish drinking songs on one compilation CD called… wait for it… Best Irish Drinking Songs. The new album features drinking songs from several of my previous albums including: Not Every Day Is St. Patrick's Day, Happy Songs of Death, Irish Drinking Songs: The Cat Lover's Companion, and Soul of a Harper.
In all honesty, this isn't an album for my current Gunn Runners. If you own my music, there's no need to buy this album. This is one of many albums that I release to gain new fans through digital distributors like iTunes and Amazon.
That said, I am proud of the compilation. It's beautifully tracked and has a lot of great songs that I love to play. I planned to release more compilations in the past but haven't had enough music recorded… until now. Look for more compilations in the future.
If you don't own some of these songs, then by all means buy a copy from iTunes or Amazon. I'm hoping this album will do particularly well on iTunes.
