I don't know about you, but 2022 was a good year for me. I accomplished a lot. Not just completing podcasts that I waned to complete or even releasing a new CD and funding another one. I had a lot shows. I wrote some good new songs. I traveled with my family. I started playing music with my daughters. I worked out some new marketing plans.
Yeah. There's still a lot to learn and fine tune and change and cancel and do more of. But overall, it was a great year. So without further adieu, here are some of the things I accomplished this year.
2022 Year in Review
- Published 48 episodes of Irish & Celtic Music Podcast
- Published 5 episodes of Celtic Christmas Podcast
- Published 15 episodes of Pub Songs & Stories
- Published 3 episodes of In the Verse Podcast episodes
- Wrote 10 new songs, not including instrumentals
- Published 31 Coffee with The Celtfather Shows
- Released Selcouth
- Released 4 singles
- Funded a Kickstarter for Come Adventure With Me
- Performed 39 shows at venues
- Played at 4 new venues this year
- Went running 3 times per week for most of the year
- Went running in Scotland and Italy
- Stayed in a large manor on Celtic Invasion of Scotland.
- Visited Loch Lomond
- Family explored Paris and Venice
- Implemented a great Celtic Top 20 plan
- Success with Album Pins
- Started weekly core workout
- Helped Inara start playing guitar
- Had our first official concert with Inara
- Raised over $200 for Atlanta Community Food Bank with kids
- Raised over $3500 for Celtic Non-Profits
- Implemented changes to my recycling and carbon impact.
- Developed sustainability plans for my music career
- Released Virtual Public House as a YouTube album
- Published audio guide to my Celtic Invasion Vacations
- Sold the final copies of Happy Songs of Death and What Color Is Your Dragon
- Business cards with QR code worked well
I'm sure there's a lot more that I missed. Things I even take for granted. But again. It was a great year.
