Hello all Todd here once again. This week we have a new episode of our own Irish & Celtic Music Podcast. From the Brushy Fork of John's Creek to the streets of Wexford Town, this collection spans reels, marches, shanties, and songs. A wounded hussar, a recruiting sergeant, and a man of the house all make an appearance, woven together by fiddle and voice from Ireland, Scotland, Québec, and beyond. The other podcast we showcase are The Scottish History Podcast & Gerry Quinn’s Irish Radio Show. The articles we feature are about Anne Donaldson’s debut novel, The Choir of Man, and “Other Voices: The Anam Sessions”. There is a list of albums released over the past week. The highlighted festival this week is the Circle City Irish Fest taking place September 18 & 19 at Edna Balz Lacy Park, in Indianapolis, IN. We hope you enjoy this issue. CELTIC PODFEST AND ARTS MARKET
- The 2026 Celtic PodFest was a tremendous success. Kinnfolk and The Muckers joined me for our first festival at The Lost Druid Brewery in Avondale Estates, Ga. The festival happened because of many of my listeners who pledged at our start-of-the-year Kickstarter. We had a great turnout, but we could’ve done better if we had planned it more than a month out.
- There is now a Kickstarter Pre-Launch Page for our Second Celtic PodFest. You’ll find a link in the shownotes. This fundraiser will hopefully allow us to bring a second festival to you.
- The Kickstarter will launch in September. Will you help?
