While I've been singing to my daughter, Kenzie, since she was born, it was only this weekend that I finally played my autoharp and sang for her.  It was awesome!

From the first chord, Kenzie lit up with a smile of delight.  You'd think she heard me playing for her in the womb or something.  It was a light of recognition… a moment of joy… for all of us.

This morning, I sang her “Wild Kitty“, and she loved the meows and the dorky faces I made.

To think, this is just the beginning. 🙂
