The Doctor Who episode “Blink” is about missing out. There's an alien race called the Weeping Angels. They are as hard as stone until no one is looking at them. They live off of potential energy. Their touch takes away all of the days you might've had and transports you back in time. You miss out on those wonderful days.
We do that in life. We spend our lives focusing on the past or immersed in media or our work, instead of living in the present.
This song is about my own angel, who reminds me constantly to live in the present. Because it's a great life and if we blink, it might just pass us by.
