Just a few more days until I head back to Austin for my Things Celtic benefit and gig at Sherwood Forest Faire. And since folks keep asking… No. Kenzie and Gwen will not be coming with. It's a wee bit too soon after surgery for Kenzie.
That said, Kenzie is doing great. She's healed up nicely from her surgery. I took her for a good hour-long walk yesterday morning. I love New Orleans in the spring. It's just stunningly beautiful. Gwen and I are so happy to have her home. There are bright shining smiles on all our faces.

“Gollum Blues” was played on the latest edition of Middle-earth Minutes. Speaking of Lord of the Rings, Bilbo's birthday party was a blast three years ago. ALEP 2 is repeating the excitement. My friends Pandora Celtica released their latest CD Out of the Box last year. A capella Celtic songs. Fantastic stuff. I picked them as one of the Best Celtic Folk Bands of 2010 in my Pub Songs Podcast. I should have a new show up soon.
