Actually, I like dogs too. I grew up with them. I thought I was allergic to cats until about 2001. It turned out the opposite was true.

I'll be honest. I didn't really want to have a cat. An ex-girlfriend did though. She talked me into adopting Jasper. He softened my heart. I soon realized I was far more cat-like than I imagined.

When she and I broke up, I got Tiziano and Torre. Those young kittens were the bizarre but fun inspiration for Irish Drinking Songs for Cat Lovers, a pet project of mine.
