I am planning the 2022 season of the Celtic Christmas Podcast. The first episode is in the works. My hope is to release it on Oct 16.

As you know, I've been trying to come up with a format that will work on all podcast platforms, is not too labor intensive and is also fun. I want to create something that you want to listen to, but also one that even the not-so hardcore Celtic Christmas fans will get excited to listen to as we run up to Christmas.

Last year's show just didn't inspire me. And the extra playlist seemed to take longer. But I did enjoy learning more about the artists.

So this year, I'm aiming at about…

• 30 minute episodes with 5-6 songs/tunes. Patrons will get music-only episodes with those tracks. However, you will need to be a part of the public feed if you want the regular episode. I'm not gonna double publish it like I've been doing with the Celtic podcast.
• There will be Christmas Music Stories… if I can collect them. I have two so far. This is where musicians talk about a song or tune and hopefully relate it to Christmas.
• And finally, there will be a Vote for Your Favorite song/tune in each episode. That track will be played at the end of the next episode to add a little bit o'fun.
