Celtic Music News
Greetings Celtic Music Lovers,
Happy New Year! I hope your year has gotten off to a great start. Mine has, having moved to New Orleans and even played my first gig here as a resident. I almost have two more lined up for February. So stay tuned for that.
I also had a kinda crazy idea–Celtic DJ. Have you ever seen or heard a DJ at an event that focused on Irish and Celtic music? Maybe it's been done, but I've heard nothing like it down here. I'm thinking I might give that a try sometime. We shall see. Could make for some grand craic!
IRISH & CELTIC MUSIC PODCAST – BEST OF 2008
Last week, I released my Best of 2008 edition of the Irish & Celtic Music Podcast. If you listen, you know about the Celtic Top 5. Well at the end of the year, I compile all the votes that people made for the Celtic Top 5 and create the Best of 2008. It features 20 songs of amazing Celtic music. The show is now available for download. And as always, it doesn't cost a thing. So download the show and give it to a friend. Let's make 2009 the year of the Celt!
