- IRELAND’S Minister for Public Expenditure will be granted the Freedom of the City of London.
- Paschal Donohoe, the Fine Gael TD for Dublin Central and Chairman of the Eurogroup, claims he is “privileged to accept the honour” which is one of the city’s oldest traditions.

MINE WATER COULD HEAT THOUSANDS OF WELSH HOMES
- Energy bills could be cut by low carbon heat schemes which use water from abandoned Welsh coal mines.
- One in five properties in Wales lies above an area which has the potential for a mine water heat scheme, the Coal Authority said.

- Brittany’s 2,000-kilometre coastline is the longest in France and is dotted with sandy beaches and wonderful secluded islands. Scotfest
- Scotfest | Oklahoma is an authentic celebration of Scottish and Celtic culture. Primarily modeled after the 178-year-old Lonach Gathering, Scotland and the 189 year old Braemar Gathering, Scotland.
- The 100% volunteer team at Scotfest, Inc., a 501(c)3 public charity organization. With a mission to produce a celebration of Scottish and Celtic culture.
- Scotfest are very proud supporters of the Northeastern State University Foundation. Providing need and merit-based scholarships to students who do well in academics, leadership, community services and other areas. Additionally, Scotfest are extremely proud to support our Veterans associations. Including Folds of Honor, Soldier’s Wish, the Royal British Legion and the Scottish American Military Society. The festival is always held on the third weekend in September in the Broken Arrow Events Park. Scotfest celebrates its 43rd year in 2023.
