Celtic Music Magazine

Céad Míle Fáilte,

It is your intrepid editor, Todd once again. In this issue we have a new episode of our very own Irish & Celtic Music Podcast. We also have new episodes of Erin’s Isle and Celt in a Twist. We have also included a list of new CDs. The articles we’ve included focus on a Irish teen entering the British album downloads charts in the top ten, a Scottish Gin being put into the Oscar gift baskets, a man with a complete Lego city in his loft, & hotel petitioning to keep illegal construction. We hope you enjoy this issue. Until next time, slàinte mhath!

THE MAN WITH AN ENTIRE LEGO CITY IN HIS LOFT COMPLETE WITH MOVING TRAINS

  • It all started off as a way to keep his grandson entertained. Marc White bought then six-year-old Sebastian a Lego train set for Christmas for him to play with and enjoy during his visits to his grandparents' house in Neath. That was two years ago…
  • It would be routine for Mr White to take the train set apart and put it aside after each of his grandson's visits, assembling it again the next time he came around. But, after more and more bits of track had been purchased, the design had evolved, and the 56-year-old decided he needed to find somewhere bigger where it could be kept set up permanently.
