Celtic Music Magazine: Celtic Rock Bonus

My goal with the podcast is to release four episodes per month. October has 5 Thursdays. So I decided to take off this first one… and then I remembered I couldn't.

That's because my friend, Dawn, asked me to write a song for a conference being held by  KrabbeConnect. This is to raise awareness for Krabbe disease.

Krabbe disease is a rare genetic disorder. It is a severe neurological condition that results from the loss of the protective covering surrounding nerve cells. Individuals affected by Krabbe disease do not make enough of a specific enzyme. Because of this, Krabbe disease slowly damages the white matter, brain and spinal cord, as well as nerves outside the Central Nervous System.

My friend Dawn Laney and I wrote a song called “Together (KrabbeConnect)” for the conference. I gave the song a Celtic Rock feel. It will be released on October 8th. So I decided I needed an episode to promote this new single.

And so, I give you this Celtic Rock bonus episode…

Yes. That show is streaming right now. I'm singing songs about death in honor of a murder ballad I'm releasing for next year's St Patrick's Day CD release called “O'er the way”. I'll sing that and other songs probably from my CD Happy Songs of Death.
