STAR WARS DUBBED IN WELSH FOR THE FIRST TIME TO CELEBRATE LANDMARK ANNIVERSARY
- Star Wars is to be dubbed into Welsh for the first time as the classic film prepares to celebrate its 50th anniversary next year.
- Welsh language broadcaster S4C and Creative Wales announced the project, in partnership with Lucasfilm and Disney, at the National Eisteddfod on Tuesday.
- The Welsh language version of Episode IV – A New Hope will broadcast on S4C and its platforms from Christmas Day…

FLEADH SET TO BRING £52M ECONOMIC BOOST TO NORTHERN IRELAND
- HOSTING the 2026 Fleadh is expected to bring an economic boost of £52m to Northern Ireland.
- Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann is underway in Belfast this week, with the city hosting the annual celebration of Irish music and culture for the first time.
- The event, which runs from August 2 – 9, will draw hundreds of thousands of visitors to the city over the coming days.
- It will also deliver “significant economic, cultural and tourism benefits across the North”, Economy Minister Dr Caoimhe Archibald said.

THE 10TH CENTURY CELTIC VOYAGE TO THE ISLE OF MAN
- People in Castletown have had a glimpse of life a thousand years ago after a 10th Century replica boat visited the Isle of Man's ancient capital.
- The 12m (39ft) vessel is predominantly made of leather and is named after Saint Brioc, who travelled from Aberystwyth to Brittany in medieval times.
- The 12-strong Breton crew, and a dog, are visiting Celtic nations on their epic journey towards the North Sea.

MILWAUKEE IRISH FEST
- Each year, they depart from Ireland and lands beyond, some crossing the North Atlantic to American coastlines, some venturing even further. Colorful and charming, they travel in groups and as families, carrying a natural sense of return as they reach their destination.
- We’re speaking of puffins, of course, but the very same could be said of those who make the journey to Milwaukee Irish Fest.
