Christmas Music

I've been on a Christmas music kick recently. Listening every time I get into the car. I gotta say, there's a LOT of crappy Christmas music these days. I love the many of the old standards. Occasionally, I hear a good new song. But for the most part not so much.

I think the best new Christmas music I've heard this year come from The FuMP: Devo Spice, Robert Lund (hilarious), and Moneyshot Cosmonauts were way cool. And The Signal Christmas podcast about cheesecake is fun. lol

The great thing about listening is it's been getting me in the mood to write more. I've long wanted to record a full album of funny and beautiful Celtic Christmas music. My Christmas Elf Conscription was a decent start, though I need to make the full recording. But then I started a werewolf Christmas song which I'm sure will earn howls of derision. Hehe!

Or I can only hope, if I actually finish the song.

Came up with a Christmas idea for next year though. (A little too late for this). That is compiling all the past Irish & Celtic Music Podcast and Cleveland Celtic Podcasts' Christmas specials into their own podcast. Look for that next year.

Meantime, I have a Pub Songs Podcast that needs editing. So I'll get back to that.

I hope to be back on. But if not Merry Christmas with lots of GREAT music!
