Closing the Celtic Folk Club

I logged onto the Celtic Folk Club a couple days ago to see if anything new was posted. There, I saw a message from Ning, who hosts my forum. They announced new pricing structure that goes into effect in July. Unfortunately, it's way more than I'm currently paying for this service and far out of my limited price range.

I started the Celtic Folk Club, formerly Sunset Connoisseurs Society, as a means for fans of my music and various interests to communicate. Unfortunately, I think I spread my endeavors a bit too thin. I don't post here as often as I'd like, and not many others do either.

And so, I'm sorry to say it is time to say goodbye to the Celtic Folk Club.

MarcGunn.net will still remain active, but in the weeks to come, it will start redirecting to other websites where you can keep up with music and projects like my Pub Songs Podcast, Twitter, Facebook and of course my mailing list at reverbnation.

I sincerely thank you all for being a part of this forum. I hope you enjoyed the site while it lasted.

Again, many, many thanks for your support.
Slainte!

PS. If anyone in the future wants to try to resurrect it, just let me know. Perhaps we can work together to make that happen.
