It’s twilight in the Shire. Fireflies wink in the gloaming; the air is soft and sweet. Halflings step out of their small doorways, walking towards a field of flowers, chatting with neighbors until…the strains of a fiddle start up, low at first, then rising into a sprightly tune, just made for dancing.
Welcome to Dancing With Hobbits, the newest collaboration between renowned Celtic musician Marc Gunn, and the brilliant fiddler Sam Gillogly. Marc and Sam have collaborated over the past decade on music that brings the Shire to life, especially in dance tunes that will take you back to Hobbiton and its unremittingly joyful inhabitants. Close our eyes – and it’s back to that field of flowers.
