Finishing the First St. Patrick’s Day Episode of the Irish & Celtic Music Podcast

I'm just finishing up the first St. Patrick's Day episode of the Irish & Celtic Music Podcast. Or rather refinishing it. I recorded it yesterday and then my computer crashed and all my audio files were corrupted. Grrr. But it'll be done soon and out next Thursday.

That reminds me. One of the websites I have that is quite popular this time of year is the Free Irish Music Downloads site. It focused on the free MP3s of the Celtic MP3s Music Magazine and isn't updated often, but still has a bunch of great links to check out.

Finally, I just pulled a new CD out of my gear from last week's show at Sherwood Forest Faire. It's Abby Green's latest CD Fig for a Kiss. Abby has a beautiful voice and is one of the few people I know who sings in Gaelic. Totally cool and I featured her in my list of Best Traditional Celtic Music Bands of 2010. I haven't listened to the new CD yet, but I expect another fantastic album.

We're down to the wire for St. Patrick's Day promotion. I just have three more projects to finish in the next week.

Go listen to some Celtic music.

Oh! If you're in the Austin, Texas area, there's a lot at Sherwood Forest Faire. I'll be back there in two weeks.
