The Irish & Celtic Music Podcast has ever been and ever shall be a 100% free podcast. It costs you nothing to subscribe. And I LOVE that. I've been honored to share and promote a ton of independent Celtic musicians who have a limited ability to be heard.

I remember when I first started playing Celtic music. It always felt impossible to get played on the radio, to have my music featured. I felt like the world was out to get me. That's why when I started the Irish & Celtic Music Podcast, my goal was to make sure every artist who submitted (and was Celtic), would get a fair chance to be heard. For the entire run of this podcast and my Celtic Music Magazine, that has been true.

That said, the show is getting more popular. Recently, I encountered a number of virtual attacks. But I just learned that that wasn't the only reason for my many web problems over the past year.

It turns out that the podcast has out grown the Basic shared server that I've had over the past year. I finally decided to upgrade the website to a dedicated server. That way there will no longer be delays in you receiving your content, at least until I need to upgrade to a more powerful server.

If you ever checked out the Sainted Patronage, you have seen exactly how much it costs to produce this podcast. With the new dedicated server, it now costs about $650 per month to produce. Depending on the month, the show doesn't make that much money. So I'm making some changes to the website in an effort to better monetize the show.

This will NOT affect you at all.

Instead, I'll be offering more affiliate links. That means whenever you buy something through my affiliate links, I will earn a small commission. I will let you know whenever I offer an affiliate link too. Of course, I don't want you to buy unless you need or want something. My goal is to benefit you AND me.
