Background
I loved the movie Anne of Green Gables growing up. Megan Follows played Anne-Girl brilliantly. The series was a long-time inspiration after my mom showed it to me in my senior year of high school. It became a comfort movie for me even before I actually read the books by Lucy Maud Montgomery.
I wrote this song in 2004 one evening while watching the show. The song just came to me. I eventually recorded for my CD, A Tribute to Love.
