I went to the acupuncturist today to help me fight off a sinus infection I feel is trying to make headway in me. While being filled with needles, I realized a couple of synchronistic things about my life.
My Celtic heritage:
- I was born March 17, St. Patrick's Day.
- I belong to the Scottish Clan Gunn, but learned I was also part Irish.
- I never listened to Irish music until I started Brobdingnagian Bards.
My Cat heritage:
- I never grew up with cats. I had Pekingeses as a child.
- My ex-fiancee introduced me to cats. A couple years later, I started rewriting Irish songs about cats.
- I then learned March 17th is also St. Gertrude's Day, the Patron Saint of Cats.
Now the final bit of synchronicity–my sinus heritage:
- I've had poor sinuses all my life. Though it wasn't until the last ten years that I started having chronic sinus infections.
- The pressure points, aka needle insertion points, to help with my sinuses surround my nose. In fact, I realized today, they were kind of like whiskers. Am I an Irish Cat? 😉
