HISTORIC SEAPLANE WOWS CROWDS AS IT LANDS ON CORNISH WATER
- An iconic seaplane surprised crowds yesterday (Saturday, October 7) as it flew over the Roseland Peninsula in Cornwall and landed near the Idle Rocks Hotel. Excited witnesses captured the moment the seaplane landed in the Carrick Roads off Falmouth.
- The seaplane is a real aviation icon that history and flight fans will know as the Grumman Albatross seaplane. It was used as a search and rescue aircraft by the United States of America Air Force.
