Kenzie had a cardic catherization performed today.

On our last visit to the heart doctor, we were told that my daughter's shunt looked small at one end during their echocardiograph. So today, they checked out the problem. It turns out there was nothing wrong with the shunt, though one of the passageways to her lungs is a bit small.

All in all, this means that her next surgery will be sooner, rather than later. We should know when in the next couple o'weeks.

In the meantime, Things Celtic in Austin is kind enough to host a benefit for Kenzie at the end of the month to help alleviate some of the expenses we've incurred due to the heart problems.
