I recorded a new Pub Songs Podcast today, show #95.  I've had problems with recording on my computer for the past several months.  You see, my computer is way old.  My main computer programs require a lot of memory.  Then my main microphone died on me.  This makes it difficult to not only record new music by my Irish & Celtic Music Podcast.  You may noticed pops and clicks in some of the past shows due these computer problems.

As I was talking about it on the podcast, the idea came that his would be a great time to start a Kickstarter campaign.  I've been dying to try out Kickstarter as a fundraising platform for a while.  There are a lot of people using it from bands to artists to writers to you name it.  I can do the same with paypal, but Kickstarter offers extra publicity.

I'll brainstorm this a little bit more.  In the meantime, what kind of success have you had with Kickstarter?  Or if you've never used it, have you ever supported a Kickstarter campaign?
