Limits

It’s tough setting limits. How high do you climb? How fast do you run? How long should you blog?

It’s the last that made me stumble the past couple weeks. I made a plan to blog more. And I did.

But one blog slowed me down.

I was so pleased with a previous blog on Skellig Michael, I tried a substantial one. A list—8 things to do in Dingle.

It’s a good topic. But completing it is tough.

I am always impressed with real writers. Those who write books! I write poetry, songs… and short blog posts, because it’s something I know I can complete.

I like finishing stuff.

Almost as much as I like starting them.

More probably…I don’t like leaving things unfinished. It clouds my brain.

That’s the issue with limits. A short blog like this is so much easier to complete than a long one.

It’s for me to understand more about myself so that when I say I’m gonna blog more frequently, I do.

Because I know my limits.
