I was packing for DragonCon yesterday when I got the bright idea that I should print out copies of my album checklist. Quite often, someone comes to my table after a show. They look intently around. Then they say, “I already. own all your stuff.” I snicker quietly to myself, and respond, “Probably not.” Now I can show them why.
The list is updated with everything I can think of at present. It includes 20 solo albums, plus seven cat albums (including EPs). The Brobdingnagian Bards have 19 albums. There are eleven miscellaneous album projects I've completed, plus ten Celtic compilation CDs (oops. I forgot to add The FuMP compilations… coming soon). So while it IS possible you own “all my stuff”, it's unlikely… until now.
I look through the list and there are a number of albums that are no longer in print. A few, I never put into print. But that's gonna change. I decided I'm gonna do some limited releases in the months to come. So if you are a collector, this will be your one chance to own physical albums that were only available for a limited time, albums from my old Ichabod days, the Cat Songs EP, and some live recordings under the name Acoustic Celtic.
I won't do it for all of the releases. I know I can dig up at least one copy of Celtic Love & War, but I'm not sure I really want to. Not even sure anyone would want Mountain Rain. Though I guess if I can get 10 people interested in owning them… maybe I'll consider it. I don't know. Post a comment if you are interested in both of those titles.
In the meantime, you can print out a copy of the album checklist here.
PS. Start checking off which titles you own. Take a picture too. I'm gonna offer special rewards for people with a ton of CDs!
