Marc Gunn, Guest of Honor, at MidSouthCon in Memphis in 2010

MidSouthCon has grown over the years to become the Mid-South's premier multi-genre convention. It covers a diverse section of fanish culture that includes Science Fiction, Fantasy, Science, Comics, Horror, Education, Costuming, Anime, and Gaming. We have over 100 authors, editors, publishers, scientists, artists and other guests, with an annual attendance of approximately 1200 people.

We have an average of over 140 hours of programing in multiple tracks during the Con (and that's not counting the Video Room, Anime Room or gaming tracks). Masquerade, Writers' Conference, Readings, Autographs, Dealers' Room, SCA demonstrations and events, Board Games, Role-playing and LARP games, CCG tournaments, and lots of other fun stuff.

This event is not just a gathering of old and new-found friends hanging out for a fun filled weekend. While we like to enjoy ourselves, we also want to do our little bit to make the world a better place to live in. We are organized primarily as a non-profit educational group but we also support more traditional charities. For more information check out our Good Causes and our Educational Projects Pages.

Look for me as the Multimedia Guest of Honor!
