“Great Celtic Music! This is (as weird as it may sound) a fun album I have been listening to it continuously since I purchased it (specifically for Johnny Jump up) and have yet to tire of any of it! Thanks Marc for recording these bloody fine songs, I will enjoy them for many a year to come.” – Ivan Sack on Happy Songs of Death
Hey there!
A baby on the way, a wedding, Dr. Demento interview, podcasting annivesary… June was a busy month!
For starters, my newlywed wife, Gwen, and I are having a wee baby girl named Heather Kenzie Gunn. She's due on October 24th. I was waiting to announce it until I knew the sex of the baby. We learned that at the beginning of June. The very next day, we headed over to Babies R Us to setup a registry. If you would like to send a baby gift, the registry number is 45263206.
I want to thank everyone who already sent us gifts when they heard the news on my Pub Songs Podcast. Les Howard even sent us a baby monitor for our future podaster. Hehe! Too cute.
Speaking of podcasting, Kristen and I noticed at the beginning of June that last week was the five-year anniversary of the Renaissance Festival Podcast. Turns out that wasn't my first podcast anniversary. The Cat Lovers Podcast first came out on May 1, 2005 and next month is the five-year anniversary of the Irish & Celtic Music Podcast (July 28) and the Pub Songs Podcast (July 25).
It's hard to believe I've been podcasting for FIVE YEARS!
Wow! I never thought I'd be doing it that long. Half a decade. Incredible. That makes it all the more cool that this week's Pub Songs Podcast also features an interview with the great Dr. Demento. Give it a listen.
Now on to the news…

KILTED FOR HER PLEASURE STICKERS FOR YOU!
My newest CD, Kilted For Her Pleasure, is at the printers right now. The CDs should grace my doorstep next week at the latest. Then everyone who sponsored the album will get their copies in early July. Your last chance to sponsor the CD is on June 30th.
If you're not planning on sponsoring the album by the 20th, then you can help me climb the charts on August16th. That's the day I will officially release it on CD Baby. Buy a copy on that day, and let's see if we can top the charts.
I also have several new stickers out. The main one is the Kilted For Her Pleasure sticker. It is yours free when you send me a self-addressed stamped envelope. Until July 30th, you will also get my Irish & Celtic Music Podcast sticker, and a couple more, all for free.
Head over to Year Of The Kilt.com and get your stickers or sponsor the album today! And remember August 16th!
Thanks for all your support. See you online. Slainte!
