My body is so out of whack. Acupuncture really is fascinating. I never thought much about the way things affect my body. I'm not even sure what is doing what to me, but I have felt physically off since DragonCon… not sick… just off.
Fortunately, I am taking good care of myself with lots of sleep and even some yoga. I am also reading a lot. My mind feels like it wants to explode with ideas. Yet, that “off”ness is keeping them at bay. I look forward to getting home. But we have two more shows this weekend.
This Week:
— Quote of the Week: “Everything's better with Pirates.” The Gamers: Dorkness Rising. Ain't that the truth?
— Upcoming Shows: Friday in Destin, Florida; Saturday in Robert, Louisiana.
— 4th Annual Renaissance Festival Awards. The nominations are now open to vote for your favorite Ren fest entertainers. I also posted the latest inductees to the Renaissance Festival Hall of Fame. Show #99 of the Renaissance Festival Podcast is posted as well.
— Do Me A Favor? I'm doing some simple weekly promotion for my music. Could you please listen to 10 songs of mine online at ReverbNation?
— “Hobbit's Dance” and “Don't Go Drinking With Hobbits” were both featured in the Wandering Geek Podcast that came out after GenCon.
— Real Men Wear Kilts is now posted on SoundClick. You can order the MP3s there, or pre-order the CD here. I'll have 'em in the mail next week.
— Added lyrics from Real Men Wear Kilts to The Bards Celtic Lyrics Directory. I also added songs to my poetry page for those that were recorded for What Color Is Your Dragon?.
— Twitter-mania. I've really been too into Twitter since I got back from DragonCon. It's all the rage among podcasters. I just think it's fun.
— My friend Ingrid has designed some brilliant Celtic animal pendants. Looks like there's a great assortment. Didn't see any cats in the bunch, but they look stunning.
— Check me out on Myspace, SoundClick, Demand a Show on Eventful, Wikipedia, Twitter, Facebook, Livejournal, Sonicbids, and DeviantArt. And if you'd like a CD…
— Do you have a quote, movie, album, tip or suggestion that you'd like to share in my Weeklies? If so, post a comment with your suggestion here.
