Marc Weeklies: Review Happy Songs of Death on iTunes

I just got back from MileHiCon in Denver, Colorado where I was the Musical Guest of Honor. How cool is that! Everyone up there was so warm and welcoming despite the wee bit o'snow that fluttered down to my heart's delight. The shows went well and the other guests were a total delight. MileHiCon is the largest Science Fiction Literary Convention and well worth a visit. Pre-register now!

I'm heading to rehearsal in a moment. The Vampire Ball is just two days away. And I still have a bunch of prep to do. I can't wait for the show. This is gonna be one hell of an event!

Let's get on with the news…

Listen to the Song of the Week: “High Jeannie High” from Happy Songs of Death

This Week:

Quote of the Week: “The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page.” – St. Augustine

CD of the Week: “The Essential Weird Al Yankovic” by Weird Al Yankovic. The foremost song parodist of the MTV era, “Weird Al” Yankovic carried the torch of musical humor more proudly and more successfully than any performer since Allan Sherman. In the world of novelty records — a genre noted for its extensive back catalog of flashes-in-the-pan and one-hit wonders — Yankovic was king, scoring smash after smash over the course of an enduring career which found him topically mocking everything from new wave to gangsta rap.
