Marc’s Musings: Sherwood Return, Livestreaming Bards, Sailor Songs

I can't express how happy I am with the new Bandcamp Livestreaming. I had a show last Thursday. It was amazing. I usually spend 1-2 hours making sure that those who bought their tickets got the URL to watch the show. It was a lot of extra stress for me.

I did have some minor debugging to do. It turns out Bandcamp emails ticket holders 30 minutes before show time, when the Chat opens up. I thought it was an hour. My mistake.

But that was it. There were no other problems on my end. And when the show was over. I was done. I went to bed wired and happy.

A HUGE thanks to everyone who bought a ticket and interacted throughout the evening.

THANK YOU!

There are also one show a day of Bards concerts planned for Sherwood Forest Faire. It all starts this weekend April 23-25, and again on May 1-2. I don't have show times yet.

Oh! And of course, I have a whole bunch of solo shows there as well!

SAILOR SONGS

The new Pub Songs & Stories podcast is now online. I've never been prouder of this show.

In fact, this week, I have not one, but TWO, songs and stories from guest musicians. You'll hear how Jesse Ferguson wrote a sailor song about the fur trade in Canada. Then you'll enjoy Heather Dale tell a moving story about an SCA tradition and the shipwright who started it.

Oh! And I sing too. hehe. A couple I haven't sung in a LONG time.

You're gonna love this show. Listen now.

THANK YOU

Thank you thank you for all of your kind and generous support of my music. It means the world to me.

Slainte!
