Marc’s Musings: Wild Kitty, Celtfather Live Exclusive

I was blown away by last week's Celtfather Live. I had an unprecedented number viewers. Over 60 people watched my show at one time!

I don't know if that seems like a lot to you. But I did my first live streaming concerts  in 2013 (the video and sound was terrible). I think they highest number of viewers I ever had on a live stream was 45 on Concert Window. I don't remember when that was. But it was YEARS AGO! My typical number is between 12-25. So 60? WOW!

On top of that virtual tips and ticket sales were also three times higher than normal. And the show is just FUN. So thank you for being a part of that experience.

Now it's time to get ready for another! Keep reading to find out more.

WILD KITTY

I published a video of me singing “Wild Rover” a couple weeks ago. The single already has a couple hundred views. So I shared a story about the first time I forgot the lyrics with my Gunn Runners.

That story was inspired by this song. The very first song I ever wrote for Irish Drinking Songs for Cat Lovers was “Wild Kitty“. Now I'm pleased to share the song that launched two CDs and quite a few singles.

CAT MUSIC FLASHBACK

If you enjoyed the video above, make sure you're subscribed to the Pub Songs Podcast. Show #204 is all about “Cat Music… and Kilts”. I sang a lot of cat songs in that podcast.
