Nerdy Wonderland Was a Resounding Success!

Nerdy Wonderland was a resounding success for our vendors. Over 400 people showed up to our event. They shopped. The drank beer. The laughed and talked. They sang along with my songs. It was wonderful.

The vendors all raved about the event. One said it was their best single day of sales of 30 events this year. Another worried they wouldn’t have enough stock for next weekend. Then they laughed and said they were good with that. There are worse things to worry about.

The Lost Druid had a great day. Though they were not properly ready for the onslaught of people. There were long lines for beer and even waits for food. Those logistics were a bit rough. But it was a hugely successful event nonetheless. They said they had done events in the past. Few were as good as this one.

Not to say we didn’t already have a Proof of Concept. Thanks to Nerdy Noel in Huntsville where I’m heading next weekend, I already knew we had a good idea, and that it would be successful. But this was a big WOW!

As for me, I had three hour long shows. People sang along and interacted. Inara joined me for most of my songs. She was a wonderful addition to the nerdy holiday music.

Kenzie helped me sell CDs. I gave her a very short primer before the event as I bounced around helping out vendors. Nevertheless, she did a great job.

Gwen even offered to bus tables for The Lost Druid. She too was incredible and made this event a huge success.

I want to send a huge thank you to Carmanda Art Things, The Lost Druid Brewery, all of our wonderful vendors, and of course, everyone showed up for a little event to celebrate the nerdy holiday season with us.

Thank you!

I hope to see you again next year!

Oh! And let's not forget to give a HUGE THANKS to Nerdy Noel in Huntsville, Alabama who inspired the event!
