New Celtic Music App and Announcing CD Release Date!

I just finished publishing the Celtic MP3s Music Magazine. Hard to believe I started that mag 9 years ago!!!! Wow! Wow! and uh, Wow!

Course that's not why I was writing. More than anything I wanted to announce my new Celtic Music app for Google Android designed by EC Software Consulting. My friend Eric designed a new app to feature some of my many projects.

The App highlights my music, blog, Irish & Celtic Music Podcast, and my Celtic MP3s Music Magazine. Beta testers tell me that it looks great. And currently, you can download it for free. So get it!

For you iPhone users, sorry. I have nothing at present. That sucks cuz I can't see it at all. So next time I'm at a show and you have your Android phone, show it to me.

Meantime, I'm hoping I'll find someone to do the same for the iPhone so I can find out what's new with me too. 😉

Speaking of new…

Kilted For Her Pleasure is nearly completed. I've finished most of the mixing. All that's left is mastering and the CD graphics. So YAY! That's the good news.

Now the bad news… not bad… just sad for now…

For those who are anxiously wanting to have a copy of Kilted For Her Pleasure, you will have to wait. Yes. After much (or at least some) consideration, I've decided to do some proper promotion for the album. That means, once it is completed, I'm going to send it out to reviewers, talk about it a lot, try to get it on the radio, and I will release it… just in time for DragonCon, September 1st.

Yes. I am hoping beyond hopes that I will be at DragonCon once again. There's never a guarantee. But my application is in. And it's strong this year. A letter of condemnation from the deputy mayor–that's got to have some weight. 😉

So there ye go. An official release date. Meantime, I have a lot of work to do promoting my latest album The Bridge. Obviously, anything you can do to help would be… helpful.

Post your review on CD Baby. Email your favorite MP3s from the album to friends. Email me Celtic radio program information. Post a link to the CD on your website, blog, twitter, myspace, facebook. Play the CD 24-hours a day so it becomes your theme music. Have fun and smile!

Slainte!
