New Name for the Celtic Geek — The Celtfather

The-Celtfather-1400

I am very pleased to introduce my brand new podcast. It's called The Celtfather podcast. Before you run out to subscribe, stop. If you were subscribed to The Celtic Geek, then you are subscribed to thew new show. If you are not, then visit celtfather.com and subscribe today.

What's changed?

I'll be honest. Aside from a new podcast graphic above, not a whole lot. In fact, I'm not even sure that's the final graphic that I intend to use.

When I started The Celtic Geek, I wanted something a bit more interactive. I wasn't able to do that. All of the comments and ratings of the show said, “we love the show for what it is”, a little bit of Celtic stuff, a little bit of geek stuff, an “inside glimpse into Marc's mind”, and more. But it wasn't anything dramatic.

So why change the name?

I'm gonna be a bit more true to what you want to hear. This show will be Celtic Geek, but it is mostly news about me. You'll hear about my adventures with my music career as I continue to find new direction. You'll experience the ups and downs of the journey. I'll continue to share insights on various things I am learning to understand better like introversion, and Celtic Christmas. You'll hear tidbits about my childhood and things that happen at gigs and with my family. Plus, I'll share some music from my huge discography.

More Stories

There is one area… one thing that I want to do more though, I want to tell more stories. I'm not a great storyteller. I spell out the facts. But that's not nearly as interesting as the stories of ones relationship with the world.

So the one thing I ask you to help with is to tell more stories. If something happens that sounds interesting, ask me to expand on it. If I start a story and forget to finish it, or lose track halfway through, tell me. I want to share some of the great things that happen.
