Do Marc's Musings ever inspire you? ============================= One more weekend to go. I still have a lot o'stuff to finish, including lots o'web stuff. So here I am working on my computer watching a good Christmas flick--Die Hard! hehe... One of my favs. Weekend was spent updating website info for Excalibur Fantasy Faire, Austin Celtic Association, and it looks like I have a new website to maintain, the Gaelic League of Austin. As if I don't have enough to do. Ah well, it sounds simple enough. I was also psyched to see that the t-shirts Nikki O'Shea designed arrived yesterday. They're pretty twisted, so check 'em out. --- Take care and drop me a line if ye'd like an postcard from Italy. Slainte! ============================= A Cat Named Rover A parody of the Irish folk song, " Gypsy Rover" for my upcoming Irish Drinking Songs for Cat Lovers CD. It was inspired in part by Johnny Cash's song, "A Boy Named Sue" and tells the story of a female cat who runs off with a tough cat named Rover. A cat named Rover came over the hill Meow-dee-do, meow-dee-mew-dah-day She left her favorite scratching post. She left behind her feathery cat wand Last night, she napped on a goose feather bed, Her human walked all around the hills. He came at last to a grassy knoll "How can you leave your plush cat bed? "He is no dog despite his name. --- | Soul of a Harper An autoharper's spiritual wandering through Celtic songs. Beautiful and fun Celtic folk songs to celebrate Your Scotch-Irish heritage.
